The Udayana University Civil Engineering Study Program had the honor of attending the 2024 World Water Forum event taking place at the Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, on 18-25 May 2024. This event is an international forum that prioritizes discussions regarding sustainable management of water resources. The main aim of this activity is to bring together experts, academics, stakeholders and international organizations to share knowledge, technology and experience related to solutions to global challenges in the water sector.

The event was attended by delegates from various countries, including representatives of governments, educational institutions, water technology companies and non-governmental organizations. From Udayana University, the delegation present was I Putu Gustave Suryantara Pariartha, ST, M.Eng., Ir. Made Widya Jayantari, S.T., M.T and students. The main focus of this forum is to discuss the big theme "Water Security and Climate Resilience for Sustainable Development", with sub-themes such as water technology innovation, water resource conservation, and mitigating the impact of climate change on water ecosystems.

It is hoped that through participation in the 2024 World Water Forum, Udayana University can establish strategic partnerships with various parties to broaden academic insight and implement technology in the field of water management. Apart from that, it is hoped that this forum will be able to inspire students and lecturers to continue to innovate and contribute to solving local and global challenges related to water.
