PUBLIC LECTURE ON PROJECT MANAGEMENT BY DR. CECILIA ROCHA FROM UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY SYDNEY

The Udayana University Civil Engineering Study Program successfully held a public lecture with the theme Project Management (Lean Construction) on Monday, November 18 2024. Located at the Udayana University Civil Engineering Hill Campus, this event was attended by active Civil Engineering students who were enthusiastic about following the material presented.

This public lecture presented Dr. Cecilia Rocha from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) as the main resource person. In his delivery, Dr. Rocha explained the concept of Lean Construction, a project management approach that focuses on efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing productivity in the construction industry.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students can understand more deeply the application of modern project management such as Lean Construction and be able to apply it in real practice in the world of work. This lecture is also a strategic step to equip students with global insight and the latest knowledge in the field of civil engineering.
