NATIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SEMINAR 2024: EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT BUILDING STRUCTURAL PLANNING AND MATERIALS WITH THE LARGEST INDUSTRY IN INDONESIA

The Udayana University Civil Engineering Student Association is proud to hold the 2024 National Civil Engineering Seminar, on Sunday, May 12 2024, the event was opened by Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D as Deputy Chancellor III of Udayana University, and attended by Mrs. Koprodi Civil Engineering Ir. Made Budiwati M.Sc., Ph.D and Civil Engineering Lecturer also attended this activity.

Taking place at the Widya Sabha Building, the 2024 National Civil Engineering Seminar is a prestigious annual event because it can present speakers from two large companies in Indonesia, namely Bhirawa Steel (a subsidiary of Hutama Karya), and Bakrie Pipe Industries. Moderated directly by the Civil Engineering Lecturer, namely Mr. Prof. Ir. Made Sukrawa, MSCE, Ph.D. and P. Adi Yasa, S.T., M.T.

In this event, the speakers shared in-depth knowledge and offered practical solutions regarding the use of construction materials that are more resistant to earthquakes. The hope is that students can understand earthquake-resistant material technology and apply it in civil engineering innovations to create superior and better quality construction.
